Founded by Kim Acosta in 2024, UCentric places candidates at the centre of the recruitment experience, empowering success through personalised recruitment partnerships.

Acosta approached Pounce to create a brand for her new technology recruitment agency that both candidates and clients would trust for personalised service.

Exploring the brand

The first step was to host a workshop session for the Pounce team to get a thorough understanding of Kim’s new business, UCentric, along with her philosophy and values that any branding would need to reflect.

Visualising the brand

For the logo, we focused on the idea of partnership, entwining the U and C to symbolise unity and collaboration with both candidates and clients.

The rounded font conveys approachability, fun and modernity, while the vibrant pinks and aquas reflect the company’s feminine identity and empowerment narrative, helping the brand stand out. Additionally, the highlighted “i” and “t” emphasise UCentric’s meticulous attention to detail, as in, “UCentric dots all the i’s and crosses all the t’s.”
